As one of its most active markets, the EIF has provided equity investments, guarantees, and fund-of-funds structures in the Netherlands, helping high-growth SMEs access capital across diverse sectors.
Several EIF flagship programmes support the Dutch economy. The Dutch Future Fund and Dutch Venture Initiative (DVI) focus on innovative companies in ICT, life sciences, and clean-tech. Complementing these, guarantee instruments such as the Dutch Alternative Credit Instrument (DACI) foster non-bank financing growth. Together, EIF instruments help Dutch SMEs scale, digitalise, and drive sustainability.

To scale up operations, adding restaurants, production kitchens, IT systems, and specialist staff, they secured an EU‑guaranteed loan from Triodos Bank, backed by the EIF under InvestEU/EaSI, enabling growth and workforce development.
